I am nostalgic for the old net, and I was inspired to have a homepage again after years of missing it! At this point, it's definitely more comprehensive and indulgent than anything I've ever made before, so that's cool.
I am a bit of a weirdo, I grew up in the early-mid 2000s and I cut my teeth on little sites like this! Visiting them, making them. I grew up in a different era, where websites were more of a personal, messy, and intimate experience, and I'm eager to reconnect with that part of the net! My interests are vast and varying, but some of the more permanent ones are various old Star Wars games, including the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series and KotOR 1/2, Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls, Half-Life, Jet Set Radio Future, System Shock 2, other immersive sims, and Mass Effect! Of particular importance to me is a ton of Sonic games, specifically pretty much all Gamecube-era ones, but especially SA2B and the Chao-raising in that game. I also enjoy a lot of Visual Novels! Of particular note are the Kogado yuri games, Nurse Love Syndrome, its sequel Nurse Love Addiction, and the game set in the same universe: Yumeutsutsu RE:Master and Yumeutsutsu RE: After, I also really enjoy the Steins;Gate series and other games in the Science Adventure universe, Higurashi, Menherafflesia, and plenty others.
I mostly grew up playing PC games, but not exclusively, I spent many hours playing my NES, Gamecube, and I own just about every major console released from the NES to the PS4/XB1.
I'm also unhealthily obsessed with lots of cringe shit like Saya no Uta, Totono, Junji Ito's works, Franken Fran, Clive Barker's Jericho, and other dark and nasty stuff. One of the first anime I ever watched was Elfen Lied, and that's why I'm like this! I'll try to give content warnings for anything too extreme, but, regardless expect a lot of weird stuff! This site will probably mostly be nothing more than light ecchi, but do understand I am an adult, and I made this site for me, not for children! If you're a kid, I highly recommend browsing the YesterWeb instead, it'll be more appropriate for you. Plus all my favorite shit is old stuff that probably won't resonate as much anyways. I'm a sign, not a cop.
About this site: That button at the bottom of the page isn't just a funny reference, this site is actually mostly made in Microsoft Frontpage 2002. Why did I use this? Honestly just to see if I could. Some of my earliest websites were started or entirely made with this program, and I was very nostalgic for it, so I decided to see if it could still work with modern Windows (11 at the time of writing) and if the resulting webpages would be usable at modern resolutions!
Unfortunately for all of you, the answer to both is yes! It also works surprisingly well on mobile. A nice side-effect is that most of the website should work perfectly fine on older browsers too, though I need to do some testing! (Works well on older versions of Chrome, though I can't get IE to play ball as of yet, probably freaking out at security protocols it can't handle!) I do actually fully intend to make this site fully usable on Windows XP and other similar OSes of that time period, in some manner. (Update: She lied)
